Training introduction

Training that turns daily office challenges into systems people can keep using.

Some organizations need a class. Some need ANWTC to step in, organize the work, build the documents or systems, and train the team before handing it back. This page helps you choose courses first, then estimate the training cost before you book a consultation.

  • Courses are purchased by the organization, not sold as individual public seats.
  • Each course includes up to 10 participants.
  • ANWTC can build custom courses for staff, members, interns, youth, or community groups.
  • Travel, lodging, per diem, venue, printing, shipping, meals, and rural transportation are reviewed separately.

How ANWTC organization-sponsored training works

Your organization chooses the training. ANWTC helps finalize the schedule, format, and fit.

1

Choose Training

2

Generate Estimate

Add participant counts and training details so the page can build a preliminary estimate you can print or save.

3

Meet with ANWTC

Book a consultation so ANWTC can review your estimate, goals, audience, location, and travel needs.

4

Schedule Training

After consultation, ANWTC confirms dates, final scope, travel, proposal, invoice, and next steps.

Selected Training Plan

Build your Training Plan.

Select the courses your organization wants to discuss. The preliminary estimate builder will calculate the course fees, participant add-ons, multi-course discount, and estimated training days.

Travel and delivery

Travel is finalized after dates and location are confirmed.

If your organization provides travel, transportation, lodging, meals, or per diem, ANWTC will note what is being provided. If ANWTC books travel, those actual costs are added to the final quote or invoice, including airfare, lodging, ground transportation, rural transportation, and State of Alaska per diem when applicable.

How this appears on the estimate

Organization provides travel: the estimate lists the items your organization plans to provide.

ANWTC books travel: travel, lodging, transportation, meals, and per diem are added after the consultation when dates and location are confirmed.

Virtual: travel expenses are not currently anticipated.

Training FAQs

Questions organizations usually ask before booking training.

Is the estimate a final quote or invoice?

No. It is a preliminary training estimate only. It is not a final invoice, contract, confirmed reservation, or guarantee of dates.

Who pays for training?

The organization sponsors the training. ANWTC does not fill seats or sell individual public seats for these private organization-sponsored courses.

What if fewer than 10 people attend?

The base course price still applies because the organization is purchasing the course, preparation, materials, delivery time, and schedule block.

What if more than 10 people attend?

For full-day training, each participant above 10 is $375 per course. For half-day training, each participant above 10 is $187.50 per course.

Can we choose different participant counts for different courses?

Yes. Update participant counts in the Training Plan or use the checkbox in the estimate builder to enter participant counts by course.

Can multiple organizations attend the same training?

Many rural organizations partner together to reduce travel costs and maximize training budgets. Several Tribes, corporations, nonprofits, or agencies may attend the same training. Organizations may share travel costs while receiving separate invoices if needed. Billing and logistics are finalized during consultation.

Can ANWTC build a custom course?

Yes. ANWTC can build custom courses for staff, members, interns, youth, or community learners, including life skills, job readiness, Microsoft tools, records, systems, or topics your organization requests.

Are travel and lodging included?

Travel, transportation, lodging, meals, and per diem are handled after consultation. Your organization may provide them, or ANWTC may book them and add the actual costs to the final quote or invoice.

When do we pay?

After consultation, ANWTC sends a final proposal and, when appropriate, a Stripe invoice or payment link.

Does booking a consultation reserve our training dates?

No. Training dates are reserved only after ANWTC confirms the engagement and any required agreement, purchase order, invoice, or payment step is completed.

Ready to finalize?

Book a consultation to review your selected courses, participant needs, dates, location, travel arrangements, and final pricing.

Bring the preliminary estimate number with you. ANWTC will help turn it into a final training plan that fits your organization.
